Auditing

Any student of the University may audit a course with the approval of his/her advisor and upon payment of the regular fees. An auditor may, with the consent of his/her instructor, take examinations, but shall receive no academic credit. The deadline for requesting an audit grade is the fifth Friday of the semester.

An athlete on scholarship must be registered for at least 12 graded credits per semester during competition for eligibility purposes. For more information on athletic scholarship eligibility, please contact Joanne Maldari, Educational Program Coordinator, Field House.

Students wishing to change to audit subsequent to the deadline will have to petition for approval by the course instructor, advisor and college dean. Normally, such approvals are for extenuating circumstances only.
