Outreach
Faculty, staff and students are engaged in their communities and professions in so many ways. Engagement activities include: Mentoring students into national competitions and graduates being accepted into tenure-track or industry-related positions; Pedagogical and curricular innovation or professional accreditations; Awards for excellence given by a professional society or alumni; Membership on professional or government boards and editorial boards of journals; Honored publication or book awards; Media interviews; Leadership roles in professional societies, Invited lectures and keynote addresses; National or international fellowships, Entrepreneural ventures and awarded external grants and patents, Community-project leadership positions and Joint enterprises between university, businesses and community.
